Aunque parezca increíble estamos ya en la recta final del 2022, y por supuesto, empiezan a resonar los distintos «tops» de lo mejor del año en las Webs especializadas. Es así el caso de los The Game Awards que ya están a la vuelta de la esquina y que han revalado sus nominaciones para lo mejor del año.
La ceremonia de entrega de premios tendrá lugar el 8 de diciembre en el Microsoft Theater de Los Ángeles, California. Asistirán miembros de la industria y un público que comprará entradas, para una noche de trofeos y estrenos mundiales.
Los nominados de este año están encabezados por God of War Ragnarok, con un total de 10 nominaciones, seguido de Elden Ring, con 7. Pero no todo son titanes, ya que algunos proyectos indie también han recibido algunos guiños. Immortality y Neon White obtuvieron tres nominaciones cada uno.
Las categorías Debut Indie Game y Games For Impact tienen también algunas candidaturas sólidas, como Vampire Survivors y Citizen Sleeper. Un creador de contenidos de juegos también fue reconocido, ya que el recientemente retirado agregador de noticias Nibellion (también conocido como Nibel) obtuvo una nominación como Creador de Contenidos del Año.
